Our Story
2004 Florence, Italy. Our story begins in the middle of the greatest leather district in the whole world, with century old tanneries and the best leather artisans. Inspired by the famous San Lorenzo markets in Florence we started our online family business with the mission to make the best leather products in the world available to everyone at affordable prices. It didn't take before we had happy customers throughout Europe, the UK and the US.
2007 Sydney, Australia Having relocated our family to Australia, it only made sense to bring the business with us once saw a gap in the Australian market for quality Italian leather bags and accessories. We have great memories from our days at the Bondi and Balmain markets! The overwhelming response from our lovelly customers was instrumental on the launch of Leathershop.com.au (one of the first accessories only website in Australia). From there as they say, the rest is history...
